Welcome to celebrate Independence Day of Ukraine and support Ukrainian Army on family-friendly Varenyky Festival at The Ukrainian Café!

The Family and Friendly Varenyky Festival at The Ukrainian Café on the 26th of August, event will be interesting and useful for all multicultural families in the D&G community, support cultural integration, and help to improve social connection with various groups of people for sharing cuisines and cultural likes.

What to expect…

  • Ukrainian Fruit Kompot – A refreshing drink of raspberry, strawberry, blackberry and cherry
  • Borshch – Traditional Ukrainian Beetroot Soup finished with sour cream (V) (Gf)
    • ** Vg without sour cream
    • Borshch with chicken topped with sour cream (Gf)                                         
  • Varenyky – traditionally filled Ukrainian dumplings  topped with sour cream,  filled with:
    • Mushrooms and potato with bacon or butter(v)                                        
    • Chicken, with bacon or butter                                                       
    • Cherries (V)                       
  •  Pyrogy – filled sweet bread rolls.
    • Cherry (V)                       
    • Poppyseed (V)                       
    • apples (V)                       

Set menu £5 + £5 voluntary donation per person.
