About

The Dumfries and Galloway Resettlement Project is a multi-agency partnership established in response to the Syrian Crisis in 2015. The project has supported Syrian families to resettle in the region, and during 2020/21 the Community Planning Partnership Board extended the project to include: EU returnees following UK Exit from the EU; Hong Kong returnees; and the Afghan Assistance and Relocation Policy and Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme.

In March 2022 the remit was further extended to include displaced people from Ukraine. This includes a dedicated programme of events.
