Ukrainian Chapel Doors Open Day 2024

The historic Ukrainian chapel in Lockerbie is opening its doors for a special event in September. The chapel was built by prisoners held at a prisoner of war camp near the town and it is a site of international significance. The chapel will have its Doors Open Day across a weekend so that visitors can see the chapel, view key exhibits and learn about the lives of the men who lived in the camp. The chapel is open on Saturday September 7, 2024 and Sunday September 8, 2024 between 11am and 5pm. There is no entry fee, but donations are welcome.
