DGMA are getting ready for our “Turkish Day” celebration on Saturday 9 March, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The Turkish Turkish Consul General is coming to meet the local Turkish speaking community and to show support for the Turkish lessons taking place in Dumfries which are currently funded and supported by the Turkish Consulate. Also, they have heard good feedback about our centre as one of the unique cultural meeting places in Scotland.

Everyone is welcome at the event, and we hope to showcase the wide range of cultures living in Dumfries and Galloway, giving our guests a very warm Scottish welcome. There will be Scottish and Turkish music, and food from all cultural backgrounds will be very welcome.
