Refugee Festival Scotland Starts Today

This year is extra special. It marks 25 years of Refugee Festival Scotland and the 40th anniversary of Scottish Refugee Council.

Over ten days, from 13-22 June, more than 150 events are happening across Scotland. Most are free, many involve food and some cover the cost of travel expenses for people with lived experience of forced migration. 

We are neighbours, not strangers and we look forward to celebrating the music, dance, food, arts, language and ideas that people bring with them when they settle in Scotland.  Everyone is welcome.
